Who We Are

Provident Research, Inc. (“Provident Research,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website www.providentresearch.com (the “Site”). This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

What We Collect

Contact Form

When you submit our contact form, we collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Subject
  • Your message

This information is sent to us via email and stored securely on our website as a backup. We use it only to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list or share this information with third parties.

To keep out spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks information about your browser and device to tell a person from an automated program. Cloudflare handles this information as described in Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. Messages are delivered to us by Postmark, our email delivery service, which handles them only to send them to us.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our Site. Google Analytics collects anonymous data using cookies, including:

  • Pages visited and time spent on pages
  • Referring website
  • Browser type and device information
  • General geographic location (city/region level, not exact address)
  • IP address (anonymized)

Google Analytics does not collect your name, email, or other personally identifiable information. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.

For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy.

Job Applications

Job openings on our Jobs page are provided by Top Echelon, our recruiting software provider. When you apply for a position, the information you enter, such as your name, contact details and résumé, is collected by Top Echelon and shared with Provident Research so we can consider your application. Top Echelon also handles it under its own privacy policy.

How We Use Your Information

  • Contact form submissions: To respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about our services.
  • Analytics data: To understand how our Site is used and to improve it.
  • Job applications: To consider you for the position you applied for and to contact you about it.

That’s it. We don’t use your information for anything else.

What We Don’t Do

  • We do not sell your personal information. Ever.
  • We do not rent or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
  • We do not send unsolicited marketing emails.
  • We do not create user accounts or profiles.

Cookies

Our Site uses cookies for Google Analytics. These are small text files placed on your device that help us analyze Site traffic.

If you visit from the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we ask for your consent before setting analytics cookies. Elsewhere, analytics cookies are set when you visit. Wherever you are, you can accept or decline analytics cookies at any time with the Cookie Preferences link at the bottom of every page. Your choice is saved in your browser, not in a cookie, and declining does not affect how our Site works.

The Jobs page (Top Echelon) and the spam check on our contact form (Cloudflare) may set their own cookies that those features need to work. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse, accept, or delete cookies.
